Working Title Films is a British film production company, based in London and owned by Universal Studios. The company was founded by Tim Bevan and Sarah Radclyffe in 1983. It produces feature films and several television productions. Wikipedia

Working Title is well known for producing features such as, 'Johnny English' and 'Love Actually'.

 

As well as producing feature films, the company is also involved with TV productions and have been active since the 90s. Since joining NBC Universal in 2010, the company have produced for both British and American television. It was back in 2000 that Natascha Wharton produced a major production that also released and the company's first ever theatrical piece - 'Billy Elliot' - in the West End. This was originally produced by Greg Brenman and Jon Finn as a British dance drama film, which came to a total worldwide Domestic Gross of $109,280,263.
 
Internationally, Billy Elliot has won over 80 theatre awards and has been seen by 10 million people. As a whole, they have produced over 100 films that have grossed over $6 billion worldwide and have won 11 Academy Awards for such productions as 'Les Miserables' and 'The Theory of Everything'. In addition, 38 BAFTA Awards were given to them on their work along with 10 Oscars. Bevan and Fellner have individually attained numerous awards, one honour including the 'Commanders of the Order of the British Empire'.
